John Broadwood & Sons

A stunning example of a square grand piano circa 1833 by John Broadwood & Sons. Finished in a polished rosewood case on four turned legs and original excellent condition ivory keyboard. The piano has been very well looked after over the years and has had restoration work carried out on its action, re strung and new dampers. The piano plays very typically of an instrument of this era with a light touch and bright crisp tone. This piano makes an incredible statement piece for any home new or old as well as a lovely period instrument that can still be played and enjoyed as it was meant to be when it was new.
