Here at Newlands & Co we have a stunning example of an early piccolo piano by the upright piano inventor and maker Robert Wornum. Wornum is known for his creative piano designs and builds especially those around the early 19th century. This piccolo upright is one of his creations made between 1830 and 1835- and still in excellent condition, a true collectors piece and museum quality.

The instruments case is finished in a deep rich mahogany with cabriole legs, its keyboard still has all of its original key tops and are in good condition. These rare instruments have now become collectors items are fewer and fewer are available and in working condition, playing an important role in the development of the piano we know today.
