NEWLANDS PIANOS EDINBURGH

This stunning grand piano by the much loved maker Steinway & Sons was made between 1908 and 1909 and built to a very high standard. The piano has a full 88 note keyboard which is very good condition with original key tops, its action is regulated making the piano play with a medium touch weight and a responsive action- Very enjoyable to play. The piano produces an excellent sound, a warm rounded tone in its bass and tenor and a clear singing top treble, with a very good sustain. This piano has had work done to it in the past, including but not limited to- new damper felts and re strung.

The case is finished in a dark stained Oak with signs of use from throughout its life such as small chips in the veneer and marks here and there, but still very attractive with lots of character.

For someone looking for a traditional grand piano capable of creating an impressive sound, this Steinway & Sons would make a great addition to their home.
